How Battery Storage Works (Hybrid):
Just like a standard grid connected solar power system solar-electric panels fitted to the roof generate electricity when exposed to sunlight.
These panels are connected to a hybrid inverter to either store the solar generated DC (Direct Current) electricity in the battery storage or to convert to AC (Alternating Current) electricity suitable for household use. The solar-generated electricity to the home is consumed immediately by your appliances.
At night, or when your power consumption exceeds solar generation, stored power is then drawn from the battery storage. Any exceeding power required is drawn from the grid to ensure the home is never without electricity.
